+OUTPUT<n>

(SPE2005)

The +OUTPUT<n> parameter defines an OUTPUT statement to add to the beginning of the SYSIN:

+OUTPUT<n>(<outputStatement>)

Important

  • Since the +OUTPUT<n> values  contain special characters (for example, blanks), the outputStatement must be enclosed by double quote.
  • You can specify a maximum of 200 characters, including spaces, in the outputStatement.

The variable n represents any number from 1 through 4 (+OUTPUT1, +OUTPUT2, +OUTPUT3, or +OUTPUT4). The variable outputStatement represents the OUTPUT statement that you are defining.

Example

+OUTPUT1("OUTPUT SYSDISC DSNAME &USER..DISCARD.D&DATE(+1)
UNIT SYSALLDA STORCLAS NGT MGMTCLAS MIG14 SPACE (10,10) TRK
 GDGLIMIT 5")

Important

For the rules that apply to parameter syntax, see Parameter syntax rules.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
