+FASTSWTCHCYCLE

The +FASTSWTCHCYCLE parameter indicates the recycle frequency of Db2 thread based on the number of FAST SWITCH executions, commonly known I/J switch cycles.

Important

A high value might cause the EDM pool in Db2 to elevate after the execution of a large number of BMC AMI Reorg or BMC AMI Load utilities in one single step.

The value is defined as follows:

The number of I/J switch cycles before terminating a thread ranging from 1 to 255

(SPE2010) (Default) Indicates after 30 I/J switch cycles terminate the thread
