The values are defined as follows:

NO

(default) You can use +NGTAUTO1, +NGTAUTO2, or the NGTAUTO DD during runtime to override BMC AMI Utilities automation control point defaults specified during configuration.

YES

BMC AMI Utilities use the default BMC AMI Utilities automation control point settings specified during configuration. BMC AMI Utilities ignore any changes to these settings made during runtime using +NGTAUTO1, +NGTAUTO2, or the NGTAUTO DD.

Example

If a database administrator configures +AUTOLOCK(YES), operators cannot change existing BMC AMI Utilities automation control point settings in the JCL. BMC AMI Utilities always invoke the default automation control points specified in +NGTAUTO1, +NGTAUTO2, or the NGTAUTO DD.
