+SORT

+SORT enables you to tell

BMC AMI Load

whether to sort data in clustering index order.

If you know that the data has already been sorted, specify NO to prevent the sort. Specify YES when your data is not in order and you want a LOAD REPLACE to result in a clustered table space that does not need to be reorganized.

Important

For the rules that apply to parameter syntax, see Parameter syntax rules.

NO

(default) NO tells BMC AMI Load not to sort the input data before loading.

The ORDER-YES option overrides +SORT(NO).

YES

YES tells BMC AMI Load to sort the input data in clustering index order before loading.

Example
+SORT(NO)

BMC AMI Load does not sort the input data in clustering index order before loading.
