RESUME (INTO TABLE option)

Specify RESUME YES on the INTO TABLE statement to add new data to the existing data in the specified partitions.

Important

RESUME NO is available for compatibility with the IBM Db2 LOAD utility command. BMC AMI Load disregards this option.

You can use RESUME YES and REPLACE in a single BMC AMI Load step by specifying multiple INTO TABLE statements. For an example, see Replacing-some-partitions-adding-data-to-some-partitions-and-leaving-remaining-partitions-available.

If you specify LOAD RESUME YES SHRLEVEL CHANGE and a mix of PART REPLACE and PART RESUME YES, BMC AMI Load stops the RESUME YES partitions during the load.
