Page title

For most spaces, this page must be titled Space announcements.

For spaces with localized content, this page must be titled Space announcements l10n.

Purpose

Provide an announcement banner on every page of your space.

+FLASHCOPY

The +FLASHCOPY parameter specifies whether FlashCopy is preferred or required. This is only relevant when the utility requests a flash copy, that is FLASHCOPY YES on the REORG statement.

The values are defined as follows:

REQUIRED

Specifies that the copy taken by the reorganization must be a FlashCopy

If the volumes do not support FlashCopy, the reorganization fails.

PREFERRED

Specifies that the copy taken by the reorganization must be a FlashCopy if the volumes support FlashCopy. Otherwise, use the standard copy.

If the volumes do not support FlashCopy, a regular copy is made with the reorganization.
