+MAXCONNECT


The +MAXCONNECT parameter specifies the maximum number of connections to the BMC AMI Utilities Subsystem started task, also known as CDBSS that the primary can start.

+MAXCONNECT is set by the configuration job, usually UBMCCNTL(NGT$GLBL). You can override this parameter in individual utility jobs with the UTLPARMS DD. You can specify the value of this parameter at utility runtime using the XSUTGLOB-global-variable-definition-automation-control-point

+MAXCONNECT has no association with or effect on Db2 threads.

(Default ) Processing uses a maximum of 64 connections to the CDBSS process.

maxNumberConnections

An integer representing the maximum number of connections to the CDBSS process

The maximum value is 128.

Example
+MAXCONNECT(32)

Processing allow a maximum of 32 connections to the CDBSS.
