Installing BMC AMI DevOps on UrbanCode Deploy/HCL Launch

This topic describes how to install BMC AMI DevOps on UrbanCode Deploy/HCL Launch.

To install the product on UrbanCode Deploy/HCL Launch

You can use the following procedure for installation of plug-ins on UrbanCode Deploy/HCL Launch:

1. From the UrbanCode Deploy/HCL Launch web console, navigate to Settings > Automation Plugins tab.
2. Click Load Plugin and perform the following actions:
   1. Click Choose File.
   2. Select BMC-AMI-DevOps-Common-12.01.00.nnnn.zip from the downloaded UCD folder.
      
3. Click Submit.
4. Click Load Plugin and perform the following actions:
   
   1. Click Choose File.
   2. Select BMC-AMI-DevOps-Db2-SM-12.01.00.nnnn.zip from the downloaded UCD folder.

5. Click Submit.

   Important

   12.01.00.nnnn represents the latest version number of the plug-in.

To verify that the product is installed on UrbanCode Deploy/HCL Launch

1. After the plug-in is successfully installed on the UrbanCode Deploy/HCL Launch server:
   1. From the UrbanCode Deploy/HCL Launch web console, navigate to Settings > Automation Plugins tab.
   2. Verify that:
      1. The BMC AMI DevOps Common plug-in and the BMC AMI DevOps Schema Management for Db2 plug-in are available in the list.
      2. The correct version of both plug-ins are displayed.
2. If the plug-ins are not installed correctly, reinstall them (see To install BMC AMI DevOps on UrbanCode Deploy/HCL Launch).
