Downloading the BMC AMI DevOps installation files


You can obtain the product installation files by downloading them from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website. You can access product pages on the EPD website depending on your license entitlements. 

Before you begin

For information about the prerequisites for using BMC AMI DevOps for Db2, see Planning.

When to download the installation files

For a fresh installation or an upgrade, see the release notes to determine the latest update. 

If you sign up for Proactive Notifications,  you will be notified about new features, maintenance availability, and bulletins about critical fixes.

The following table provides links to the page in the EPD website that contains the installation files for this product. From the EPD page, you can select and download the installation files for your platform. To access the EPD website, provide your BMC Support credentials. You might also be prompted to complete the Export Compliance Form.

To download the installation files from the EPD website

  1. Log on to the BMC Electronic Product Download site.
  2. Enter your login credentials and click Submit.
  3. If you are accessing this site for the first time, you are redirected to the Export Compliance and Access Terms page. Enter information in the following fields:
    1. In the fields in the Language and Required Export Information sections, select values or enter the appropriate information.
    2. Select the I Agree check box in the following sections:
      • Export Compliance Statement
      • Product Access Terms
    3. Click Continue.
  4. If you are accessing this site for the first time, create a new EPD profile. As your Install Platform, select LinuxMicrosoft Windows/NT, or both. For more information, see Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) Help Information.

  5. Navigate to the Licensed Products tab.
  6. Verify that the Profile list displays your profile correctly.
  7. From the View list, select Licensed Product.
  8. Expand the list for one of the following solutions by clicking the + next to the name in the Product Name column:
    • BMC AMI DevOps for Db2

       Add On

    • BMC AMI DevOps for Db2


  9. Depending on the solution, do one of the following:
    • For 

      BMC AMI DevOps for Db2

       Add On, expand the 

      BMC AMI DevOps for Db2

       Add On 12.1.00 item by clicking the + next to its name.

    • For 

      BMC AMI DevOps for Db2

      , expand the 

      BMC AMI DevOps for Db2

       12.1.00 item by clicking the + next to its name.

  10. Select the 

    BMC AMI DevOps

     Version 12.1.00 for Db2 check box corresponding to your deployment platform.

  11. Click Download.
  12. Unzip the downloaded installation folder which will expand to show two folders:
    • Jenkins 
    • UCD
