Using the SELECT statement with BMC AMI Defender for Db2

You can find the following two statements in member CZAPDAM:

; SELECT EVENT(dbDB2DAM) ; Uncomment for dbDefender for DB2
; SELECT SMF(DAM)       ; Uncomment for SMF IFCID support

Uncomment the statement that applies to your situation. (To uncomment a statement, either delete or overtype the semicolon in column one with a blank.)

Example

If you use BMC AMI Defender for Db2, leave the second statement unaltered and remove the semicolon in the first statement, so that it reads:

SELECT EVENT(dbDB2DAM) ; Uncomment for dbDefender for DB2

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
