Parameters for SMFDB2

The following table summarizes the required parameters:

IFCIDMAP(name)

Specifies the name of the MAP, normally M_IFCIDs, that contains a mapping from IFCID numbers to textual descriptions. This map is used to display IFCID descriptions and severities if TRACE(PARM) is specified. This parameter is required.

IFCIDs(IFCID-spec [SEVerity(severity)])

Specifies one or more DB2 IFCID types to be formatted by BMC AMI Defender for z/OS. This parameter is optional.

SEVerity(severity)

Specifies the default RFC 3164 severity code for the event type. Specify one of the severities in Syslog-facilities-and-severities. See also SMF-DB2-statement for a discussion of DB2 severity defaults if SEVerity(), IFCIDs(), or both are not specified.
