Customizing BMC AMI Defender for your security subsystem
This topic is not relevant if the LPAR on that you are running BMC AMI Defender uses RACF, as opposed to CA ACF2 or CA Top Secret (TSS). BMC AMI Defender is preconfigured for RACF.
To customize BMC AMI Defender for your security subsystem
Locate the following three select statements in the CZAPARMS member:
SELECT SMF(80) ; Security events - RACF
; SELECT SMF(TSS80 TSS231) ; Security events - TSS
; SELECT SMF(ACF2) ; Security events - ACF2- Edit the parameter file as follows:
If the LPAR runs ACF2:
- In column 1 of the RACF line, enter ; (a semicolon).
- In column 1 of the ACF2 line, delete ; (the semicolon).
; SELECT SMF(80) ; Security events - RACF
; SELECT SMF(TSS80 TSS231) ; Security events - TSS
SELECT SMF(ACF2) ; Security events - ACF2If the LPAR runs TSS:
- In column 1 of the RACF line, enter ; (a semicolon).
- In column 1 of the TSS line, delete ; (the semicolon).
; SELECT SMF(80) ; Security events - RACF
SELECT SMF(TSS80 TSS231) ; Security events - TSS
; SELECT SMF(ACF2) ; Security events - ACF2
- Save the parameter file member.
- Restart BMC AMI Defender.
