Troubleshooting general browser issues


This topic describes how to troubleshoot general web browser issues when you use BMC AMI Command Center.

Issues

  • BMC AMI Command Centercannot connect to the Common Interface Server (CIS).
  • The wrong product version for BMC AMI Command Center is displayed at login.
  • Apps are unavailable.
  • Messages indicate that a maintenance level was not found.
  • Missing or malfunctioning features after a product upgrade.

Resolution

Important

Before trying to resolve an issue, save any user data entered on the BMC AMI Command Center views.

On the page with the issue, perform the following steps:

  1. Press Ctrl + F5 to force the browser to retrieve the page from the server instead of loading it from the cache.
  2. Log in to BMC AMI Command Center.
  3. Check the page with the issue.
  4. If you are still experiencing the issue, contact BMC Support.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
