Generating and running Alter DDL statements
You can use
BMC AMI Command Center
to generate and run an Alter DDL statement for the following objects:
- Databases
- Indexes
- Procedures
- Storage Groups
- Tables
- Table Spaces
To make these changes, you must have the required Db2 privileges.
To generate and run an Alter DDL statement
In the DB2 Navigator perspective, select one of the supported objects:
- Databases
- Indexes
- Procedures
- Storage Groups
- Tables
- Table Spaces

On the Tasks toolbar, click Alter
.
An Alter editor view is displayed in the Schema Management perspective.
Make any needed changes to the editable properties.
When you change a property, the name of the changed property field is italicized.
- Click Generate alter DDL
.The DDL is displayed in the Alter DDL tab.
- (Optional) Enter an alternative SQLID in Current SQLID to set the SQL authorization ID for the command.
Click Run DDL
to run the DDL statement.
