Creating a template
Use the following procedure to create a template from any workspace. You or your team can make a set of templates for different purposes.
To create a template
- In the Workspace Manager, open the workspace that you want to use as a template.
- Click Create Template
.
In the Create Template dialog box, enter a template name (up to 50 alphanumeric characters) and optionally a template description.The name is not case sensitive, and it can include spaces, dashes, or underscores. Any leading or trailing spaces will be removed.
Entering a description can help other users determine whether the template suits their purposes.
- Perform one of the following actions to select a folder to contain the template:
- Click Select folder
to choose an existing folder.
- Click Add new folder
to create a folder as described in Managing-folders.
- Click Select folder
- Click OK.
