Mirroring SmartSwitch rules
To mirror SmartSwitch rules
- In the Product Tools perspective, select a SmartSwitch view.
Click MIrror all rules

- In the Mirror DB2 Utility SmartSwitch Settings dialog box, perform the following tasks:
- In the Name field, accept the default name, or provide a name for the deployment.
The name can contain up to 50 characters, including all printable ASCII characters. Select one or more Db2 subsystem connections as targets for the deployment.
- Select whether to continue if an error occurs for a selected Db2 subsystem:
- Clearing the check box stops the deployment immediately.
- Selecting the check box continues the deployment with the next Db2 subsystem.
- Click Next.
- In the Name field, accept the default name, or provide a name for the deployment.
- Review the summary of the rule deployment.If BMC AMI Command Center detects a connection problem in a target Db2 subsystem the application displays an error message in the lower left-hand corner of the wizard, which identifies the Db2 subsystem that has a connection problem.
- Click Finish:
- The mirror deployment view is displayed under Deployment in the navigation pane.
- The Results tab is displayed in the results pane.
- You can see details of the deployment processing on the Results tab.
- (Optional) Perform the following actions to save the deployment report in a folder of your choice:
- Click View report

- Click Save report

- Click View report
To mirror SmartSwitch rules by using an existing deployment view
Use this procedure to mirror SmartSwitch rules that have already been defined in a mirror deployment view. For example, you might have corrected a Db2 issue that previously prevented the rules from being mirrored.
- In the Product Tools perspective, select a SmartSwitch mirror view from the navigation pane.
The results pane is populated with the Summary and Results tabs. - Click Mirror all rules

- Select one or more Db2 subsystem connections to which you want to mirror the rules.
- Click Next.
- Review the summary of the rule deployment.
- Click Finish.
- (Optional) Perform the following actions to save the deployment report in a folder of your choice:
- Click View report

- Click Save report
.
- Click View report
