Tuning SQL

You can create one or more What-If statements and use them to progressively tune a selected baseline statement.

By default, BMC AMI Command Center for Db2 honors the Db2 privileges to generate Explain plans. To configure BMC AMI Command Center to allow Explain to acquire SYSADM authority for executing Explains, see information about the authexpl option in Configuring security for BMC AMI Command Center in the Common Db2 documentation.
