Managing object sets

Object sets are collections of objects that resolve to indexes and table spaces. You can use 

BMC AMI Command Center

 to manage object sets.

Object sets are stored in the BMC common repository on each IBM Db2 subsystem, which enables sharing object sets across the following products:

  • DASD MANAGER PLUS
  • BMC AMI Recovery Manager for Db2
  • BMC AMI Copy
  • BMC AMI Recover
  • BMC AMI Command Center

You can use BMC AMI Command Center to:

  • Create an object set
  • Edit an object set
  • Delete an object set
  • View the list of Db2 objects (table spaces and indexes) to which an object set resolves
  • View a filtered list of object sets
