Terminating utilities

Use the following procedure to terminate the run of a BMC PLUS utility or an (BMC.DB2.SPE2210) IBM Db2 utility:

  1. In the DB2 Navigator perspective, select or create one of the following views:

For more information, see Creating-a-Utility-Status-view .

  2. From the Results list, select up to five utilities to terminate.
  3. Select Command > Term. Alternatively, you can select Command > Term from the context menu.
The Scratchpad perspective opens to display the Term command on the Command Text tab. If you selected multiple utilities, the Term commands are displayed consecutively in the Scratchpad. If Command Center cannot terminate a utility, an error message is displayed instead of the Term command. The following figure is an example of terminating BMC PLUS utilities:

    • To run all commands listed, click Run NW_run.png.
  5. Select the Db2 subsystem on which to run the command:

    • By default, the last run Db2 connection is preselected.
    • Use the menu arrow to select from your list of favorite connections.
