To enable syntax highlighting
BMC AMI Command Center syntax highlighting is keyword-based with very light parsing. It uses the list of keywords and built-in functions documented in IBM Db2 manuals. It does not detect syntax errors. Use this procedure to enable syntax highlighting:
- From the console's main menu, click Signed in as > Options.
- Select the General tab.
- In the Syntax Highlighting Options section, select Use syntax highlighting for SQL statements.
In the Scratchpad and Performance perspectives, this option determines whether syntax highlighting is enabled.
After selecting (enabling) this option, SQL statements on the SQL Tuning tab of the Performance perspective are highlighted the next time you select the view. In the Scratchpad perspective, SQL statements are highlighted if the option was previously selected in the view. - Click OK.
To copy a layout
Use the following procedure to create a new layout based on an existing one. You will copy the layout, customize it, and save it under a new name.
To set the default layout
The default layout is used when you create a new workspace, or when you open a workspace or template that was created by a version of BMC AMI Command Center that did not support layouts.
