+WORKMODE


The +WORKMODE parameter enables you to define permanent work data sets that can improve product performance by eliminating the portion of processing where you define work data sets.

The values are defined as follows:

TEMP

(Default) Uses temporary work data sets

DEFAULT

(Default) The name DEFAULT is used for the work data set.

PERM

Uses permanent work data sets and causes the job to fail if no data sets are available

You must specify a name for a group of permanent work data sets.

ANY

Uses permanent work data sets, if available. If no data sets are available, use temporary work data sets. If BMC AMI Utilities determine that permanent work data sets should be used, you must specify a name for a group of work data sets.
