+SVRPROCMSGLVL

The +SVRPROCMSGLVL parameter specifies the level of messages and job control statements that are printed to the JCL output for started task server jobs.

Warning

Important

Often the product does not retain the output for started tasks. This parameter allows the message level to be changed so messages are available for diagnostics.

The values are defined as follows:

statementLevel

Indicates which job control statements the system prints to the JCL output.

Value

Description

0

The system prints the JOB statement, all comments, and all JECL statements up to the first EXEC statement.

1

The system prints all JCL statements, JES2 or JES3 control statements, procedure statements, and IEF653I messages. The messages provide the values assigned to the symbolic parameters in the procedure statements.

The system prints only JCL statements and JES2 or JES3 control statements.

N 

(default) N directs BMC AMI Utilities to refrain from using any stmtlevel parameter on the STC card.

messageLevel

Indicates which messages the system prints to the JCL output.

The system prints only JCL messages. It prints JES and operator messages only if the job abnormally terminates. It prints SMS messages only if SMS terminates the job.

1

The system prints JCL, JES, operator, and SMS messages.

N

(default) N directs

 to refrain from using any msglevel parameter on the STC card.
