Using a command recognition character
Some
Catalog Manager
commands, such as PRINT, are also ISPF commands. When such a command is entered on the Command line, ISPF assumes that the command is an ISPF command (provided that the command is defined in the ISPF CMD table) and
Catalog Manager
processes it as such.
To force ISPF to ignore a command
Type the > command recognition character before the command with no intervening spaces (for example, >PRINT).
