Using an existing object as a model to create objects


You can use the design of an existing DB2 object as a model to create a new object. 

Catalog Manager

 makes it easy for you to change only the attributes that should differ from the model.

To create objects

  1. Define the object.
    1. Create a list.
    2. Type CREATE (CR) next to the object.
  2. Specify the attributes for the object.
  3. Generate SQL.
