Other batch utilities

In addition to DOMBRPT1, the following batch utilities are provided for use with 

Apptune

:

  • DOMBLOD1—This utility takes the DB2LOAD data set written by DOMBRPT1 and creates the appropriate CREATE TABLE DDL and LOAD utility control statements for the table to be loaded (see DOMBLOD1-utility).

  • PSSBLOAD—This utility loads performance data into specific Db2 tables with information from archived data sets and the interval in which the statement was executed (see PSSBLOAD-utility).

    Future deprecation of PSSBLOAD and LOADxxx reports

    BMC plans to deprecate the PSSBLOAD utility and the LOADxxx batch reports in the next release of Apptune. As an alternative, consider using the BMC Performance Advisor Database component. The Performance Advisor Database is part of the SQL Performance solution and the BMC AMI SQL Performance for Db2 solution.

  • DOMBPLOG—This utility prints all entries from the specified report log (see DOMBPLOG-utility).
  • DOMBSWIT—This utility invokes the Data Collector SWITCH command from a batch job (see DOMBSWIT-utility).
