Batch reports: description and examples


The requested reports are printed after the last Report Disposition Summary.

These reports are printed in the order in that they were requested in the REPORT statements.

Although most BMC AMI Apptune for Db2 reports can be processed in batch, Apptune provides some reports that have been specifically designed with batch reporting in mind. These reports are 132 columns wide and their format has been designed to be easy to read.

Note

Batch reports are printed in mixed case (uppercase and lowercase) by default. If your printer does not support lowercase letters, you need to specify Y in the field labeled Print in upper case only on the Presentation Options panel of either the User Profile or User Options.

A batch report specifying DATASOURCE(COLLECTOR()) can filter on more qualifiers than a batch report using archive data. Changes to the collector have enabled additional data-reduction capabilities that allow it to process the data with more granularity than can be done with archive data
