DROP SYNONYM statement

The DROP SYNONYM statement removes a synonym definition.

To drop a synonym, you must have ownership privileges for the synonym.

DROP SYNONYM synonymOwner.synonymName

This option specifies the fully qualified name of the synonym to be dropped.
