This <dbc> element defines a DBC subsystem or group for which to list information or to register or deregister.

Defines the subsystem identifier of the DBC subsystem.

dbcgroup

Defines the group name of the DBC subsystem.

  • When used within a <list> command and default='yes' is specified, this value acts as a qualifier.
  • When used within a <register> or <deregister> command, this value specifies the name of the DBC group to be registered. The maximum length of this value is 8.

Valid values are yes and no.

If you specify yes within a <register> command, the value specified within the element replaces any existing default DBC group name.
