Updating the default RTCS configuration

At times, you might want to modify the default RTCS environment created by the Installation System. For example, you might not want to share the RTCS Subsystem SYSTEM Registry.

Before you begin

  • Complete the configuration process in the Installation System.
  • Run the created jobs and complete the tasks on the created checklists.

Note

At any time, you can rerun the created jobs to return to the default environment that the Installation System has created.

To update the default RTCS configuration

  1. Refer the following information to understand the RTCS started task procedure, z/OS program property table, and RTCS initialization member.
  2. Modify the information in your environment as required.
