Selecting an SSID for the RTCS subsystem control address space

Select a four-character z/OS subsystem ID (SSID) to use for the RTCS subsystem control address space. We recommend using RTCS for the SSID, but you can select any sequence of four characters.

Note

If you are sharing data sets, you must complete this task only once per sysplex. Otherwise, complete this task for each of the target z/OS images.
