RTCS configuration

This section explains how to configure a target z/OS image to start the RTCS Initiator and initialize the RTCS subsystem.

RTCS is installed through the Installation System. During the installation, you also can configure RTCS. To configure, see Using-the-Installation-System-to-configure-RTCS. 

At times, you might want to update the RTCS environment that was created by the Installation System. For example, you might not want to share the RTCS Subsystem SYSTEM Registry. To modify, see Updating-the-default-RTCS-configuration.
