Administering BMC Execution Component for z/OS (DBC)

BMC Execution Component for z/OS (DBC) provides a persistent z/OS subsystem address space into which BMC products can dynamically initialize their own product services. 

The following components also require the DBC subsystem:

  • The Data Collector for System and SQL Performance products
  • BMC AMI Command Center for Db2 (also called the GUD component)
  • BMC Subsystem Optimizer for zEnterprise
  • LGC and NGL infrastructure components
