Downloading the installation files
Before you begin
Before you install BMC AMI AI Services, make sure you have completed the following tasks:
- Install the BMC AMI DevX Code Insights product.
- Review the system requirements for your platform, including the required software installations.
To download the installation files
- Search for and select the BMC AMI AI Platform and click the latest version.
From the Product tab, select and download the required platform file from the following options:
- BMC AMI AI x86 Version 1.1.00 for BMC AMI Platform (Linux on x86)
- BMC AMI AI AWS Version 1.1.00 for BMC AMI Platform (Linux on x86)
- BMC AMI AI Azure Version 1.1.00 for BMC AMI Platform (Linux on x86)
- BMC AMI AI zCX Version 1.1.00 for BMC AMI Platform (zCX / zLinux)
- Copy the downloaded files to the server on which you plan to deploy the services.
- Unzip the file.
The following playbook files, tailored for the selected platform, are available:

- BMC-AMI-AI-Llama3-Service.yml
- BMC-AMI-AI-Llama3-GPU.yml
- BMC-AMI-AI-Mixtral-Service.yml
- BMC-AMI-AI-Platform.sh

- BMC-AMI-AI-Llama-GPU.sh
- BMC-AMI-AI-Mixtral.sh
Where to go from here
Create a virtual machine (for the AWS or Azure platforms) and deploy the BMC AMI AI Services:
- For AWS or Azure platforms, use a Terraform script to create the virtual machine. For more information, see Automated-installation.
- Alternatively, you can manually create a virtual machine in the cloud. For more information, see Manual-installation.
- For x86, see Deploying-BMC-AMI-AI-Services-on-your-on-premises-x86-Linux-distribution-Ubuntu.
- For zCX or zLinux, see Deploying-BMC-AMI-AI-Services-on-ZCX-or-zLinux-instance.
