Using System management


As the administrator, you can use the System management feature with centralized tools to manage access, users, and host connectivity in the Platform manager console. You can review and update roles and groups, add or remove users, and assign appropriate access based on your organizational needs.

To log in to BMC AMI Platform

  1. In a web browser, navigate to the login URL in the following format: https://ipAddress:port. In this URL, ipAddress is the IP address of the manager node in your Docker Swarm or Kubernetes cluster.

    https://124.40.177.225:30002
    In this example:

    • 124.40.177.225 is the IP address of the manager node in your Kubernetes cluster.
    • 30002 is the port of the Platform manager console.
  2. Log in with the following credentials:   
    • User name: admin_user 
    • Password: Use the same password that was set during the deployment for all default users.
  3. Click Log in.
  4. On the Home tab, click the Platform manager tab.
  5. From the menu in the left pane, select System management
