This section explains everything you need to know to get started with the BMC AMI Platform UI and provides a step-by-step walkthrough for using all BMC AMI Platform features.

To start using BMC AMI Platform, log in to the BMC AMI Platform console.

To log in to the BMC AMI Platform console

  1. In a web browser, navigate to the login URL in the following format: https://ipAddress:port. In this URL, ipAddress is the IP address of the manager node in your Kubernetes cluster.

    In this example:

    • 124.40.177.225 is the IP address of the manager node in your Kubernetes cluster.
    • 30002 is the port of the Platform manager console.
  2. Log in with the following credentials:   
    • User name: admin_user 
    • Password: Use the same password that was set during the deployment for all default users.
  3. Click Log in.

After logging in to the BMC AMI Platform console, the BMC AMI Assistant page is displayed. To use the BMC AMI Assistant and other features of BMC AMI Platform, see the following pages:
