Downloading the installation files

You obtain the product installation files by downloading them from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website. The license entitlements that your company purchased determine your ability to access product pages on the EPD website.

For more information about the EPD website, see Product Downloads - BMC Software.

Before you begin

Before you install BMC AMI AI Services, make sure you have completed the following tasks:

  • Install the BMC AMI DevX Code Insights product.
  • Review the system requirements for your platform, including the required software installations.

To download the installation files

  1. Search for and select the BMC AMI AI Platform and click the latest version.
  2. From the Product tab, select and download the required platform file from the following options:

    • BMC AMI AI x86 Version 1.1.00 for BMC AMI Platform (Linux on x86)
    • BMC AMI AI AWS Version 1.1.00 for BMC AMI Platform (Linux on x86)
    • BMC AMI AI Azure Version 1.1.00 for BMC AMI Platform (Linux on x86)
    • BMC AMI AI zCX Version 1.1.00 for BMC AMI Platform (zCX / zLinux)

    Important

A token file is downloaded with each platform file. This token file is necessary for deploying the BMC AMI AI Services.

  3. Copy the downloaded files to the server on which you plan to deploy the services.
  4. Unzip the file.
The following playbook files, tailored for the selected platform, are available:

    • BMC-AMI-AI-Platform-Services.yml
    • BMC-AMI-AI-Llama3-Service.yml
    • BMC-AMI-AI-Llama3-GPU.yml
