Recalling data sets
To recall data sets
- Search for resources on the search bar. For more information, see Searching-resources.
Click the three-dot menu next to the data set and select Recall.
A popup window with recall parameters is displayed.
- Specify the Volume. The operation can allocate the restored data set in a different name than the original backed-up data set. Whether the original name is changed or not, you must have SAF permissions for this data set name in the target system, in addition to BMC AMI Cloud permissions to perform the UI restore action.
Configure the advanced SMS parameters to set the SMS attributes of the recalled data set. These parameters are passed to the ACS routines, unless you specify Bypass ACS routines. For more information, see the IBM DFSMS documentation.
