  3. Specify the Volume. The operation can allocate the restored data set in a different name than the original backed-up data set. Whether the original name is changed or not, you must have SAF permissions for this data set name in the target system, in addition to BMC AMI Cloud permissions to perform the UI restore action.
  4. Configure the advanced SMS parameters to set the SMS attributes of the recalled data set. These parameters are passed to the ACS routines, unless you specify Bypass ACS routines. For more information, see the IBM DFSMS documentation.
    The following fields are available:

    Field

    Description

    Storage class

Specifies the storage class to be assigned

    Management class

    Null storage class

Sets the storage class to null

    Null management class

    Bypass ACS routines

This option requires SAF permission to M9.UI.RESTDSN.BYPASSACS.

    Executing agent

A drop-down menu for selecting the executing agent for the archive data set.

  5. Enter your credentials in the Username and Password fields.
  6. Click Recall.

You are redirected to the ACTIVITIES window where you can check the status of the recall operation.
