Upgrading Cloud Data Sets

Upgrading Cloud Data Sets (CDSs) consists of three parts, which you must complete in the following order:

  1. Allocating a larger z/OS volume catalog and redefining dummy tape volumes by using the newest version job.
  2. Upgrading the CDS started task after upgrading the server and before upgrading the agent.
  3. Converting the CDS files format after you have upgraded all the components.
