BMC AMI Cloud Data Sets parameters

This section describes the CDS parameters.

M9CDSWK parameters

M9CDSWK accepts the following parameters:

(Required) object storage bucket name


jclouds.calculate-md5

Enables MD5 checksum calculation to be included in putObject requests

This parameter is required for Object Lock enabled buckets.

jclouds.endpoint-url

(Required) URL of the object storage.

The URL should start with http:// or https://


jclouds.password-obfuscated

Determines whether the password is obfuscated

jclouds.password

(Required) Secret key to object storage


jclouds.user

(Required) Access key to object storage


jclouds.v4signatures

When using object storage that uses V4 signatures, set this parameter to true, in addition to api.id: s3

jclouds.verify-endpoint-certificate

Set this parameter to true if the worker must perform certificate verifications when using the HTTPS protocol.

jclouds.virtual-host-buckets

Use virtual host names when accessing the object storage.

units.address-ranges[0].from

(Required) The first device in the range of devices that this worker controls.  


units.address-ranges[0].to=

(Required) The last device in the range of devices that this worker controls.

CDS version link format used

true–BMC AMI Cloud uses the CDS version 3.x.xx link format.

false–BMC AMI Cloud uses the CDS version 4.x.xx link format.

ami-cloud-data.complex-name

Defines the resources that the agent can process

Important

  • To specify a single address range, use the same address in the 'from' and 'to' value.
  • A unit address range cannot overlap with another unit address range.
  • A unit address range 'from' value must be lower than or equal to its 'to' value.
  • The unit address range must be specified in the corresponding M9ENV address space. 

M9ENV parameters

M9ENV accepts the following parameters:

units.address-range.from

(Required) The first device in the range of devices that this M9ENV controls

Important

  • A unit address range can be of a single unit address.
  • A unit address range cannot overlap with another unit address range.
  • A unit address range 'from' value must be lower than or equal to its 'to' value.

units.address-range.to

(Required) The last device in the range of devices that this M9ENV controls
