Using Cloud Data Sets


This topic explains available actions when using Cloud Data Sets (CDS).

DELCDS command

You can remove Cloud Data Sets by using the DELCDS command on the BMC AMI Cloud command line interface. For more information about using the command, see DELCDS.

More details menu (web UI)

You can query a cloud data set resource entry for its meta data by using the More details menu option in the BMC AMI Cloud web UI. The Details pop-up window contains general information about the data set such as creation and expiration dates, record format, volume serial, and size.

Delete action (web UI)

You can delete a CDS resource entry in the BMC AMI Cloud web UI. However, the delete process does not remove the catalog entry from z/OS. Therefore, the admin needs to manually remove the catalog entry after a you delete a CDS by using the UI.
