DELVOL

You can use the DELVOL command to delete backup versions created by the full-volume dump policy runs. The BMC AMI Cloud server finalization process automatically deletes expired backups as part of the generation management process. To use this command, you must have READ access to the BMC AMI Cloud resource M9.CLI.DELVOL.

Logic

The deleted full-volume dump is visible in the UI until a periodic synchronization, which by default, is performed automatically every 5 minutes. If needed, you can perform on-demand synchronization in the UI by clicking the SYNC WITH STORAGE button in the Agents tab.

Warning

The DELVOL action cannot be undone.
