BMC AMI Cloud incremental data set backup policy type, allows filter in or out data sets by identifying if they are a ZFS or not.
In order to prevent DFDSS from locking out R/W mounted ZFS, make sure you filter out ZFS data sets from the daily incremental backup policy. These data sets should be handled separately using a dedicated policy type to prevent ENQ deadlocks.
