BMC AMI Cloud agent requirements

This topic describes the requirements for the BMC AMI Cloud agent.

IBM Java for z/OS

Version 8 64-bit SR6 FP25 or later

Using an earlier version causes a failure on startup with message ZM91005E.

Important

Version 11 of IBM Java for z/OS is not supported.

Date and time

Object storage UTC data and time must match z/OS date and time

You can display the UTC data and time by using the USS command date -u

Important

If the object storage and z/OS dates and times do not match, the agent fails with HTTP error code 403 while trying to connect to the object storage.

To verify the Java version and to change the Java installation directory, use the following commands:
