This topic presents some of the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Remedy SSO integration with TrueSight Operations Management.
Which Remedy SSO version is supported for TrueSight Operations management 11.3.04 or later?
Remedy Single Sign-On version from 9.1.04 to 20.02 versions are supported.
How to upgrade from TrueSight Remedy SSO to Latest Remedy SSO?
Before you start the upgrade to 20.02, the RSSO database must be running when you edit the file.
As discussed with RSSO and TrueSight experts, we do not recommend to upgrade TrueSight Embedded RSSO to External / Regular RSSO version.
RSSO Dev team has pointed out that RSSO regular Installer may not work on TrueSight embedded RSSO as it may miss some post installation configurations which is stopping file system and DB to get updated to newer version.
So, the best possible approach is to have RSSO 20.02 installed separately on different Tomcat and then point that RSSO to integrate with TrueSight Presentation Server.
However, we have some steps which are already listed and worked in the history for few of the upgrades.
Log in to your existing Remedy SSO server and navigate to the <RemedySSO_INSTALL_DIR>/rsso/conf directory.
Open the rssoproperties.conf file.
Set the db.prepackage.type property to false.
Upgrade the Remedy SSO to version 18.11 or later.
After a successful upgrade, reset the db.prepackage.type property to true.
