Configuring email or SNMP alerts for system monitoring


The system can alert users via email or Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) traps when certain system events occur (for example, a configured cryptographic key fails on the Real User Collector or a system alarm triggers). You can configure alerts on the Real Use Analyzer and Collector components, but a Collector component sends alerts only if there is no Analyzer connected to it, or when accepting alerts from the Collector is disabled on the Analyzer & Collectors management page of the Analyzer. Otherwise, its alerts are channeled  through the associated Analyzer components.
