Log Monitoring File (LOGMON)

To access the LOGMON application class, double-click the LOGMON icon. LOGMON icons are located under the LOG icon.

Note

The Log Monitoring File monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the LOGMON application class in BMC PATROL.

InfoBox

The following information is displayed on the Logmon InfoBox:

File Path

Displays the name and path of the log file

UID:GID

Displays the User ID and Group ID of the account that created the file

Last Modified

Displays the date and time when the file was last modified

Blackout Remaining

Displays the amount of time left of the blackout period.
If no blackout period is defined, the value of this field is N/A.
