AR authentication

If you have Remedy AR System integrated with Remedy Single Sign-On,  you can configure a realm for AR authentication. Remedy AR System serves as an identity provider (IdP) in AR authentication flow.

AR authentication flow

The following table provides the AR authentication login flow:

Remedy SSO server determines that the Remedy AR System server-based authentication should be used.

Remedy SSO web application redirects an end user to the Remedy SSO login page.

The user enters credentials. The Remedy AR System then checks if the credentials are valid.

The Remedy SSO server communicates with the Remedy AR System server to authenticate the user.

The Remedy AR System server confirms the user authentication.
