Configuring Remedy SSO for authentication


Remedy Single Sign-On (Remedy SSO) can be configured to provide authentication using the following protocols:

  • BMC Remedy AR System Server
  • SAMLv2
  • LDAP
  • Kerberos
  • Certificate-based
  • Local User Management
  • OAuth 2.0
  • OpenID Connect
  • Pre-authentication

The following image shows the end-to-end steps that you need to perform to configure any authentication in Remedy SSO.

  1. Configure the Remedy SSO server settings after you complete the installation of Remedy SSO application.

    Note

    This is a one time-activity.

  2. Configure a realm for which you want to configure an authentication method.
  3. For the configured realm, select and configure an appropriate authentication method.
  4. Configure the brand settings.
