System requirements

Before you install BMC Helix Single Sign-On, ensure that your environment meets the hardware and software requirements described in this topic.

Hardware requirements

The BMC Helix SSO server must meet the following requirements:

  • The minimum available disk space on all operating systems must be 1024 MB.
  • An additional 7-10 GB of space is recommended for log file growth, depending on the volume of users and the products that are integrated with BMC Helix SSO.

Software requirements

Use theBMC SOLUTION AND PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND COMPATIBILITY UTILITY (SPAC)to get the following software requirements:

  • Operating systems
  • Database requirements
  • Third-party prerequisites
  • Products compatibility
